The Sunny Coast Wood Ducks comprises around 30 Correctional Officers from the Woodford Correctional Centre aged 35 years and over. The goals of the mighty Wood Ducks is to play masters rugby league games whilst raising funds for local charities and community groups from North Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. We are also aiming to raise the profile of Queensland Correctional Officers and the complex role they play in the criminal justice system, improve the mental and physical health of Correctional Officers and improve community and Officer relationships.
