DBT is a modified type of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). The main goals are to teach people how regulate emotions, to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness by improving relationships with others.

TFACT is a flexible comprehensive approach to Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), it treats an entire spectrum of trauma – related issues, including PTSD, addiction, depression, anxiety disorders, moral injury, and complicated grief. TFACT aids in:

  • Overcoming hyperarousal and hyperarousal
  • Break free from dissociation
  • Discover self-compassion
  • Discover Post-Traumatic Growth
  • Discover skills to manage symptoms
  • Discover what our “Tricky Brain” does
  • Learn about the Poly Vagal theory & the Attachment theory.
